This floss is made of PLA (polylactic acid), a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from a renewable resource (corn). PLA floss works for most people’s teeth, but it’s not as strong as plastic floss. If you find regular floss tends to shred or break on you, PLA floss may not suit. You could look at using an interdental brush for the tricky spaces.

Care instructions
A good length of floss is approximately shoulder to shoulder width. I would recommend unraveling and twisting up a new section of floss between each tooth space.
End of life/disposal
Like all PLA products, this dental floss is commercially compostable. It may also degrade in a home compost if conditions are favourable (high heat, sufficient moisture, and time). At Solid HQ, we dispose of our floss by rolling it into a tiny ball, cutting this with scissors a couple of times, and popping in our home compost.
